SIMPLE HIBISCUS SYRUP

In a saucepan, boil 1 cup water with 1 cup sugar. Add 1 cup or more of fresh hibiscus and reduce heat. Simmer. Turn off heat and let it cool on the stovetop. Strain and store in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
